Maybe life has changed more than I would care to admit. Maybe I’m a little too old for wilin’ out anymore or possibly the City of San Diego has tried with smothering success to control great venues where people feel free, comfortable and reasonable. Maybe being there at the right place at the right time is all it was in a City void of free, cultural direction. For me, Landlord’s was the Gold Standard for nightlife in downtown San Diego because you could come as you were, no money to get in, great music and a camaraderie with similar people enjoying a unique experience there.

I cherish my time there and use my glass on special occasions…Landlord Jim’s roots and branches have spread throughout the incredible connections I still have from the people, music and memories

New HGB Store Opening On Cyber Monday:

For Cyber Monday, Homegrown Blends is excited to launch our new online store. This is a “soft launch” as we still have a couple of aesthetic bugs to tweak, as well as add our mix cd’s and vinyl. But we got some T-shirts and crewneck sweatshirts up, and the shopping cart works, so we didn’t want to delay the opportunity for our supporters to purchase some gifts for the holidays.
